At PlaySafeLearning, we go beyond the standard of education in early learning and provide 2 types of educational frameworks. The first being the 'Early Years Learning Framework' and the second being our own tailor made PSL Curriculum' which has been based on the NSW 'Best Start Program'.

Early Years Learning Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework is Australia's National Standard curriculum for early childhood services. It describes the principals, practice and outcome essentials to support and enhance young children’s learning from birth to five years of age, as well as their transition to school. The Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning, as play is the best vehicle for young children’s learning which provides the most appropriate stimulus for brain development.

The EYLF learning outcomes below are incorporated within every activity, each day at PSL:

· EYLF Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
· EYLF Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world
· EYLF Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
· EYLF Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners
· EYLF Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators

Further to the EYLF, we provide an additional educational focus based on the NSW Best Start program, made into our own PSL Curriculum. The PSL Curriculum has been separated into Literacy & Numeracy, incorporating the various aspects involved in early learning. We focus on a better educational beginning to give our children the best start for their future!
